1. (From bottom up) Me in my new dress: a beautiful yaca and my beautiful student hat. One of my last nights with my current host family.
2. Me with my neighbors (gelnejes = housewives); they are so awesome. They take care of each other, and everyone acts as part of the extended family.

5. Playing "Capture the Melon" with the kids. Turkmenistan has a Melon Day, so we aptly replaced the flags with watermelons!
